As an Automation Intern, you’ll work alongside our dev and operations teams to design, build, and maintain end-to-end workflows that connect webhooks, APIs, Google Sheets, CRMs, messaging channels, and more. You’ll gain hands-on experience with low-code automation platforms, learn best practices for data transformation, and help us deliver scalable solutions to real clients.
Workflow Development:
Build and test n8n or Make.com scenarios to automate data flows (e.g., lead capture → Google Sheet → CRM update → WhatsApp notification).
Configure triggers, actions, scheduling, branching, and error-handling nodes/modules.
API & Webhook Integration:
Implement REST calls (authenticated via OAuth2 or API keys), parse JSON payloads, and handle webhooks for inbound data.
Data Mapping & Transformation:
Use JSONPath or Make’s mapping UI and write small JavaScript snippets (Function/Code nodes) to manipulate and enrich data.
Testing & Troubleshooting:
Monitor workflow logs, diagnose failures, and implement retry logic or fallback steps.
Documentation & Collaboration:
Document each workflow’s logic in Markdown, share SOPs, and demo to non-technical stakeholders.
Continuous Learning:
Explore community recipes, propose new integrations (e.g., Apify scrapers, OpenAI calls), and adopt best practices for security and performance.
Familiarity with at least one automation platform (n8n, Make.com, Zapier, Node-RED, etc.)
Basic understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, and JSON data structures
Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) for small code-node functions
Experience with Google Workspace apps (Sheets, Drive, Gmail) and their APIs
Strong analytical/problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
Experience deploying or troubleshooting self-hosted n8n on Linux servers (VPS)
Exposure to other integrations: Airtable, MySQL/MongoDB, Twilio/WhatsApp API
Basic Git version-control knowledge
Interest in AI/ML APIs or web-scraping
